November 16th: Departure day of the Vietnam tour

• Free morning in Hanoi, with time to explore the Old Quarter’s bustling streets, visit a nearby café for a cup of Vietnamese coffee, or simply relax at the hotel 

• Afternoon flight to Siem Reap 

• Check into our centrally located hotel 

• Free evening to rest before the next day’s early morning wake-up

November 17th: Siem Reap / Angkor Wat / Siem Reap

• Half-day sunrise tour of Angkor Wat’s main temples and ruins, discovering the stories behind one of the world’s greatest archaeological treasures 

• Return to Siem Reap in the early afternoon for a short rest before the next round of activities 

• Afternoon visit to Artisans d’Angkor, a local social enterprise supporting rural artisans by reviving traditional Khmer crafts such as wood carving, stone sculpture, and silk painting - Finish at APOPO, an NGO using trained rats to detect landmines and unexploded ordnance, where we’ll learn about their work in clearing Cambodia’s countryside of hidden remains from past conflicts

November 18th: Siem Reap

• Morning Grand Circuit temples tour, a quieter part of Angkor that includes some of the most impressive and detailed structures, built both for everyday use and to show the power and wealth of the Khmer Empire 

• Leave the temples just before the heat picks up and stop for lunch at New Hope Cambodia, an NGO-supported hospitality training restaurant that also funds education for over 1,500 children in the area 

• Return to the hotel in the early afternoon for a break, with time to rest or relax by the pool - Afternoon visit to Kampong Phluk, a floating village on Tonle Sap Lake, where families live in stilted houses, giving us a look into everyday life on one of the most important lakes in the region

November 19th: Siem Reap

• Morning guided trip to Hariharalaya, a peaceful group of pre-Angkorian temples built in the 8th and 9th centuries 

• Continue to Senteurs d’Angkor to see how local artisans handcraft soaps, balms, candles, and cosmetics using natural ingredients like coconut oil and herbs - Explore the Made in Cambodia Market, a small open-air space where Khmer artists and designers showcase handmade goods and crafts. 

• Farewell dinner to close out our time together in Cambodia
